Inside Eastside is a blended media project and the main communication tool between the Mokoia Community Association (MCA) and residents of the Eastern suburbs of Rotorua. Inside Eastside takes the form of a monthly, printed newsletter distributed to over 4,000 homes and now, as of 1st September 2015, the new www.InsideEastside.org.nz website. The MCA required a website that was easily accessible from a wide variety of devices: mobiles, tablets and conventional computers. It had to be easy to update with well organised information. Due to the incredible number of events that the MCA facilitates for the Eastside residents, a powerful events calendar was a must have feature.
